When i get the money of course.
I was surprised at how low this can be done for. The leather is surprisingly the most expensive part. I cruised the local thrift stores and found a leather jacket and used part of that (the only decent piece on it) to bind a broken book for my mom to test the process. It's slow and requires patience, but it is great to see the finished product. I decided against leather for my copies though, it was expensive and didn't come out as nice as I would have liked, all my lack of experience. Instead, I'm going with a traditional hardcover binding with a book cover that I'm commissioning from a great artist.
I priced printing at the local Kinko's (or whatever they are called now) and on the heaver paper hardcover books use, printed four pages per sheet (two each side) only came out to less then $30 per volume.
